Where have my gears gone?

Suddenly lost 2nd 4th and reverse gears on my 87 944.

Is it an easy fix and have we any experts here that can advise me please?

I would be tempted to look out for a linkage issue. How floppy is your gearstick?

Off topic, but are you the same trackerjack who used to own a Dolomite Sprint?

Hi Sebring man yes on 2 counts the linkage was so easy to repair using an alloy tube to support Porsches measly circlip that had sprung off the shaft.
The Sprint now lives in Ohio USA where its going to be well looked after and should outlive me. It managed to survive 13 years of track days and wife and I reckon at least 1200 miles of flat out Castle Combe never mind other circuits so its earnt its freedom!
