Cayenne 19" Tyre sizes

Just recently bought a 2005 Cayenne & I now have a couple of questions, no doubt the first of many..
Not consistently but sometimes when doing a cold start, it will drive poorly, a bit stuttery. It clears either when you get some speed up or after 5 minute warming up. First thought is coils?
Second thing is, it is on 19" wheels. These are 9 x 19", according to the tyre charts the correct tyre size for these is a 255/45 x 19"
However the Porsche spec is 275/45 x 19"
Having had a look at mine it is on the 255s. And looking at VW Toureg forum they run the 19" on 255 as well.
