Didn’t think 928 would work in Guards. I was wrong.

Beautiful!

Make the wheels a bit larger and swap the wing mirrors and that could be a modern car. Amazing for something 40 years old. I had a 1979 chevette. I loved that car but you’d never confuse it with a 1985 design.

What a lovely looking thing. Loving the Pascha too.
Harry is grinning from ear to ear with another early one in his review.

That is stunning.

When I was looking for my 928 it had to be manual and not red. There was a red S2 manual that ticked every other box for sale for about 6 months, the time it took me to get over my redophobia and I made the call. He’d sold it that morning.

Agree that does look good, but I reckon red suits the later, S4-onwards 928, whereas these early models look spectacular in a period metallic such as bronze, green or blue.

Pasha trim just awesome!

Didn’t the 928 win car of the year 1978?

It's time will come.....always been under appreciated.....

Richard Attwood is currently racing one run by the Porsche Classic Centres.

Then there's Harry's video....

Appreciation for them is growing slowly.

1) that is beautiful. THE car of my childhood...
2) I wish I could justify owning one, or more importantly have the disposable to cope with running costs
3) Why won't Porsche bring the 928 badge back.... I bet there's a market to pull on the heart strings of that generation....

Whilst drooling over that I was thinking what an elegant design it is.

No big spoilers, skirts, 20" wheels or any other similar tat.

Just a lovely looking car in great condition that would have those of us 'in the know' nodding in appreciation as it drove past.

Great!

Look's absolutely great, and in the "purest" 928 shape of all, thank's for posting it. Here'a pic of my 1980 manual, owned for 26 years, and never ever get bored with it.
Minerva blue, same colour underneath with detailed engine and all suspension etc.
