Number 3 for us. Had 911 and Boxster and I think the Macan is a good compromise for a daily.

I've had experience of an SD a Petrol S and last car a 2lt base model and that was the best all round 'daily' car for me, nippy enough for country lanes.

Anyone know when the UK site will go live with car builder? The China version is live. New wheels look better IMHO. Few new colours.

Dipping my toes into the Porsche world here for the first time, so this may be a stupid question

Does Porsche offer any discount on list prices? I know the current Macan was selling faster than they could make them until recently, and Porsche isn't exactly the type of manufacturer to be listed on broadspeed or drive the deal type places, but just wondering whether there is ever anything later in a model's life cycle

I read on the UK Macan forum that the initial cars will be in four set specs...something to do with new emissions and every optional extra having to be calibrated/tested for emissions regs. If that's repeated across the whole range that's going to cause ructions but may explain why the only 991.2 that will be available is the GTS.

They need to get their butts in gear I am very close to cancelling my order. I know it wont make any difference to them in the grand scheme of things but its really starting to pee me off now the lack of information and delivery dates seem to be moving further and further away. I was initially told Sep 18 then after factory closure Dec 18 then more recently Jan / Feb but could be longer. Personally I think we could be into April or even later. I have a Model 3 on order too which might end up coming before the Macan at this rate!

Late in a model's life cycle you might be able to get a few £k off, but for a brand new model like this Macan no chance I'm afraid!

Not sure if that isn't for the Chinese market only because they've had the Gen 2 on their config for a couple of months at least
The UK config is still waiting of course but I was told Nov/Dec delivery
