If you have a Cayenne with air suspension could you do me a favour?

I’d like to know the height of the door sill from the ground when the car is stationary and the suspension has been lowered to its minimum height.

There are two minimum heights....the "Low" Setting which it can be driven on as per normal and the "Loading" setting which is a decent amount lower but the car cannot be driven on. Can be driven very, very slowly at this height but it'll raise automatically so if you were relying on it for access somewhere I don't think you could without risk of damage.

I can have a measure tonight if that helps.

Thanks Cheib, much appreciated.

I’d be loading with the car stationary.

8 1/2 inches...it's about 10 inches in the normal "middle" height. HTH.

OK, so that’s 8.5 inches from the road surface to the top of the door sill?

That’s really low, the tyres must be sitting up inside the guards!

No that's to the underside of the car/sill. You want it the top of the door sill as in where the kick plate is when the door is open ?

Yes, that’s right. Road to door sill that you step on.

Yes, that's correct.

If you get a chance some time, I'd be very interested to know the measurement from the road surface to the top of the door sill.

If you want to buy the adjustable link kit you can lower your cayenne as far as you want.

Rather than use the factory fixed length rods, the kit has threaded rods to lower the car (you still have all the settings)
