Beautiful 968 Club Sport for sale with BorderReivers.co
guards Red car with same owner since 1998.
Not my car but known the previous owner for the last 25 years.
It’s a peach.
Not sure how that is worth £38k when ones with less miles are struggling to sell for £25k

I imported a LHD very high spec 968 coupe when I moved back to the UK in the early 2000's and used it as a daily for 6 years without a problem. When I sold it, I had 5 people from 4 countries interested within a couple of days of advertising it. They all wanted it as a basis for a club race car as it had factory M030 and the RHD cars are compromised in several areas iirc, such as master cylinder location and brake actuation.

I have to laugh at the prices of the CS cars, even back then. Most didn't have M030 and apart from the buckets which some had, they had no special bits compared with the coupes.

"Confusion aside this model is a Sport on the logbook"

It’ll say on the V5, Sports say Sport

The Chassis number identifies them as a Clubsport. Throw away the rear seats and some electric motors, and fit a pair of Pole Positions and they're pretty much the same anyway

I don’t know what is worth as I dont follow the market, but I can’t think there are many
2 owner 968CS left out there. I personally don’t think you’ll find a nicer one.

Over 100k miles, a sunroof, no MO30 or LSD. Not really the most desirable spec for £38k...
Agreed

I'd have the yellow 4 star classic car with less miles and save 13.5k

I sold my yellow lhd through RM last year. If I was doing it again i would put it into Essen but its probably a no reserve st or bust senario. Email me if you want to know about the experience!

Yes, the 4star red one has the wrong seats (narrow Recaro SPG v Porsche spec Polepostion xl = £2500-£5000+?), missing £500 of fog lights, funny suspension. It does have the nicer cup1s though. Suspect originally comfort front seats on the build report.

Seem to be quite a few UK CS's with comfort front seats and the rear bench (eg no signs of rear seats originally being fitted). The Collecting Cars 968 was the same. All with windy up windows so no "Komfort electrik" pack!

well if its done with the correct seats not such a bad thing

Recaro Pole Position ABE is the nearest to factory. If you buy leather you dont get the ghastly white RECARO text (just a smaller, more subtle embossed RECARO). It is TUV approved for road use. I suspect the factory covers would fit them (if you can still get them). Early versions of the original seat had a webbing under the seat cushion. I doubt these have that.

Recaro Profi-SPG (as per the red 4 Star Classics car) are 6cm narrower and SPG XL 3cm narrower. The seat is actually a different shape to the pole position.

My CS was exactly like that.....standard seats suited my "large" frame. 1994 in special order Amethyst which I thought was a great colour. Sold it to a mate when I got my 996 in 2003 with 57k on it for £12,500. The ultimate in "cars I wished I'd kept"!!

M139 MNC - be good to know if it's still around. Might even be tempted to buy it back!

Do you mean amaranth? A light purple colour?

If so one sold a few weeks back at Cameron, it had buckets and the graphics. There was another that sold about 3 years ago at 4Star and a guy on FB also has one which could be the 4Star car, either way very rare colour.
