I'd have the yellow 4 star classic car with less miles and save 13.5k
That would be my pick too
Yes, the 4star red one has the wrong seats (narrow Recaro SPG v Porsche spec Polepostion xl = £2500-£5000+?), missing £500 of fog lights, funny suspension. It does have the nicer cup1s though. Suspect originally comfort front seats on the build report.

Seem to be quite a few UK CS's with comfort front seats and the rear bench (eg no signs of rear seats originally being fitted). The Collecting Cars 968 was the same. All with windy up windows so no "Komfort electrik" pack!
Seems silly that 4star are asking £4k more for the red one? Unless I'm missing something? Neither of them will be their stock, I would assume, as most of theirs are commission/SOR sales, but you'd think they'd manage their client's (i.e. the seller) expectations and coordinate the prices a bit better?

red one is m030 (although suspect the shocks are missing), has cup1's and is about 2 miles under 80k so looks vaguely more attractive from a marketing perspective.

Would still have the yellow car as nicer to drive on the road with standard gear.

smile I've thought about doing that, and fitting a couple of Pole Positions. Not entirely convinced the base CS was 100kg lighter than a Sport though.
I did it just to see if I could do it.. smile

There is a Weigh Station not far from me, might put my Sport on the Scales there, just for interest's sake..

agree the silverstone car making 10k more than - the asking price - of the collecting cars example still for sale does seem to be strong result. how much of a discount to a cs does the regular 968 coupe they now have up there attract do we think? would expect it to be 10k cheaper or so?

I have a CS with the Luxury Package (i.e. a CS FKAAS.. "Formerly Known as a Sport".. and yes, the V5 now says CS! biggrin) and a mate with a 'Lightweight' CS (1973 Carrera RS Touring vs Lightweight debate anybody..?), without sunroof, and we are seriously toying with weighing them both at the same time in the same place (with equitable fluid levels, but without us sitting in them, obviously..) to get an actual number for the weight difference..

I now see the 4starclassics one you refer to above and I would also have that at £10k less than the Silverstone car, or is that really the difference mileage of 22k to 82k makes? I’m no expert but trying to work out why, the 4star one only has 12 service stamps in the book in 26 years maybe that’s a factor.
Lovely cars anyway, 8-P when is your Amaranth one coming online?

Ah evo575 it’s your car sorry I’ve managed to misread that!
I’ve thrown a bid in on the Collecting Cars one which seems to be no reserve I hadn’t noticed that. Would prefer amaranth to polar silver though!
Ideally would like sub 100k miles but I can’t be too picky. As 8-P has said it seems they can take high mileage if looked after.
Will see what that one goes for on Wednesday and return to the search.

My CS was exactly like that.....standard seats suited my "large" frame. 1994 in special order Amethyst which I thought was a great colour. Sold it to a mate when I got my 996 in 2003 with 57k on it for £12,500. The ultimate in "cars I wished I'd kept"!!

M139 MNC - be good to know if it's still around. Might even be tempted to buy it back!
M139 MNC has been in my ownership now since 2015 and is absolutley on the button .
If your serious about wanting to buy it back I may be persuaded . Its now got 78k on the clock.
Sat in a temperature controlled garage and i need to free up space.
Let me know.
