924 and 944 are so underrated still. Amazing because they are fantastic cars. Excellent daily.

My 924 GT, which replaced an ‘84 944 2.5 manual.

Nice though this was, I never really gelled with it, and the 944 was a much nicer road car.

It's new to me, it has lived most of its life in Italy ... just registered in the UK.

As with most of us, waiting for better weather !

Just bought this. From here actually. '90 S2. My third 944 after running an S2 and a turbo back in the 2000s I decided to go back.

Just watching the 944 Turbo episode of Wheeler Dealers, upgrading it from road to a track day/road use car (adjustable suspension, brakes, chip) wondered if it survived the intervening years, looked like a v v old episode? Just checked and it’s still MoT’d and Taxed - AAW944T - I’m presuming it’s on the same car and hasn’t just been transferred to another Grey Porsche.

Bit of an afternoon of Porsche on Quest today! As well as the 944 they showed the 2005 928 episodes (the 911 targa episodes were ok too). I looked for the 928 (WPO578T) on gov.uk too but saw that it hadn’t any MOT history and was 10 years past when it needed taxing. Oh well, thinks PG, the young lad that gave £6000 for it must have written it off! Then a bit later it popped up on a Google image search on https://www.mikebrewermotoring.com/features/wheele... with an interesting backstory. It’s also been sold on again via a classic car auction website. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1089118

Here’s mine at a local site of interest. Just before I hit the SORN button a couple of months ago.
