Personally i'd save the £3k because as you say you've paying an extra £1k which creates a problem which costs another £2k to fix. Some reviews i've read blame the 10mm lower PASM for ruining the ride on our typically bumpy UK roads. If you lived in Germany and not South Wales i'd consider it but not here in the UK.
I love the 992TTS in Black but i know you prefer white cars which will also look great.

Hi

So my spec so far is.......

Solid White with white painted side vents

Metal sunroof / rear wiper and black arch stone guards

Black with Sportex inside with crayon stitching and seat belts

Classic wheels with black centre's

Lane warning (55 forget to look behind, "sometimes")

About £6k in options (now you are saving me the above)

Trying to make it look like one of my 911's of the past !!

I think the centre eye for the cruise spoils the look and its another £2k)

Great classy spec. Good idea to have the side vents in body colour. Steel sunroof is also a smart move as the black glass one will break up the lines too much on a white 992TTS imo and create two half cars.
I had the Sporttex seats with Crayon stitching on my temporary 992S Cabrio and i would not spec leather over it again in a 911. The Sport tex feels extremely high quality yet both cool and not sticky to sit on in summer yet warm and comfy on winter. I also dislike the centre radar on the front grille and would never spec it on any 992.

thanks for your comments, I've also gone for the standard exhaust with square tips, as all the modern sports systems all sound poor compared to the
air-cooled of old

The standard quad square exhaust looks so much better than the awful oval ones to the point the former should be the expensive option rather than the latter.

Spot on with the rear wiper option.

Very disappointing no PTS option still available in UK. The PTS cars I'm seeing in US some in very nice hues this being my fave so far. I'd order like this but with LW pack do not need rear seats any more wink

I get that in the grand scheme of things the £250 option is neither here or there...but the problem with the rear wiper is that in the UK the sweep is the wrong way so its not as effective as it is for LHD cars, and its nothing a good going over with a rain repellant cant resolve.

Don't need lift on the Turbo even with the lowered suspension.

Agree with others on the quad exhaust looking much better.

I would not go without adaptive cruise control. The 992ttS is a fast beast and to be able to “follow” others through speeds restricted areas such as roadworks on the Autobahn etc could put that investment back in the money very quickly.

Yup on a car designed as the ultimate GT car adaptive cruise is something I’d want and use a lot. We’ve got adaptive cruise on two cars, I’d always have it on anything that’s going to be doing long journeys.

Stay with the standard suspension. Had the lowered option on my 992S and it bounced and skipped on the uneven roads round me. Kept it standard on my 992 Turbo S and its far better.

All the rest are personal taste and don't affect how it drives. I went with sports exhaust this time mainly as it was recommended by the dealer and you can tell the difference - but again not really needed

Another vote for Sporttex - had it on a 991T with yellow stitching - looked great and felt snug

what about the 'sport package' that saves 30kg? when you consider it's 3x the weight saving of a 'T' then it's pretty good imo!

It was the first thing I ticked but the more I looked at it, the more I preferred the clean lines of rear spoiler (almost lower ducktail shape) without it

along with the front spoiler tips and a few bits painted in gloss black, it didn't justify £4k

+1 on adaptive. Motorway speed in 8th is so uneventful that it's easy to drift without noticing. I use mine in slow and stop start traffic too.
