Finally have my build slot, it’s going be this spec! https://cc.porsche.com/icc/ccCall.do?userID=EG&amp...
Wanted sport pack, and normal wheels, but my opc has said it’s not possible. Has anyone managed to get part of an option pack?
How long do Porsche take to build and ship to Uk? It should go into production the start of may, how long has it taken people to take deliver, after the build starts?

Nice spec!

I have gone for the sport pack as well as the lightweight pack with carbon buckets. I am not a fan of the wheels included with the sport pack but I’m going to have them refinished in full gloss black anyway. Porsche are strict and won’t mix n match the options other than what is available as per their packs.

My car enters build on 12th March and estimated to be at the dealer on 30th April so about 6 weeks from build to dealer- then about 1 week for PDI and collection. This should give you an idea for your delivery.

Thanks for the info its a shame they wont let people mix and match, i did fancy the full buckets but with them not folding it would be an issue as i use my current 992 4s to go to the golf! so need access to back seat, also was not keen on losing the quilting in the interior and missing out on the red stitching as well. What colour did you go for? my dealer has said paint to sample will be available next year if I wanted to wait. They also told me that if it enters production start of may they should have it at the end of may! seemed a bit quick, think they are being optimistic there. Although when they get it I will go nuts if it takes them a week to pdi it! I will be waiting out the front of the dealer as soon as it arrives! lol

I have gone for Jet black metallic so all the gloss black of the sport package will be quite subtle on mine. The satin grey wheels just don’t work for me, I think the wheels will look great in full gloss black to match the other bits. I have seen a few other cars have taken this approach for the wheels and it works for me!

It’s a shame about the quilting on the doors and not being able to pick contract stitching with the LW pack. I’m going for yellow belts, clocks, alcantara carbon wheel, sun visors, armrest etc so it will still feel special interior-wise with the carbon buckets. The seats are not the most practical for everyday use but I’m not using it as a daily driver so I thought why not. I would never use the back seats anyway so no loss for myself deleting these. There seems to be a bit of negativity on other posts regarding the -10mm sport suspension (much needed for the stance in my opinion) and buckets on here due to comfort of the car and what many feel a Turbo S should be! I have done some serious driving in the buckets already in my GT3’s to the ring etc and I have never found them an issue. I’m in my 30’s and the above bone shaker spec won’t be an issue. If in the future I want/need comfort as a priority I will get a Bentley for this reason.

I like you would be itching to collect it the day it turned up at the dealer, but I will have to wait now for the wheels to be refinished!

As said the your car looks great and is very high spec, the only bit I’m not sure on is the black stone guards, I like them on their own but don’t feel the balance is right coupled with the side graphic. I’d personally stick with the standard transparent guard if you are keen on the side graphic so it balances better to my eye anyway. My opinion only so please take it will a pinch of salt smile

Sounds a similar colour theme to your old Turbo S that I bought. Your new one sounds a great spec, enjoy it.

That was my inspiration! Have you still got it? I loved that car it’s probably still as quick as the new one!

Two very nice Turbo S sat in Guildford OPC awaiting delivery tomorrow. A particularly nice silver cab with double stripes on bonnets and roof (yes roof). Not seen that before.

Still have it, it’s going really well, also love it and have no plans to move it on any time soon.

I called my OPC to order a set of folding buckets for it last week but price has gone up 30% since I had a quote for them in Nov......moves the pricing on them from fairly punchy to very f###ing punchy.

Hope life is treating you well and enjoy your new one.

I am glad to hear you are still loving the car and its going well! The buckets would finish it off nicely they were ££££ when I enquired, it makes the £3k option from the factory look cheap.

I am looking forward to the new car, thanks for your well wishes and same to you.
