Cayman 981 GTS weird noise

So I noticed today in Sports Plus when in 6th gear (my car is manual) that the car was making what can only be described as a sound like someone taking a piece of printer paper and tearing it.

I was doing around 40mph whilst travelling along a ring road.

I’d been driving the car quite hard before this and again after as the road opened up again. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary with the power delivery. I’m under extended warranty so not worried about anything but just wondering if anyone can say what it is and whether it’s just something you may hear on occasion.
