Can you recall the reg? I know a cassis S4.
I know it was a 1987 car and the registration started with an E. I think it might have been E328 or something like that because I sort of remember at the time thinking it was a shame it was only one digit from being a 928 numberplate. Not sure if this is helpful...but very excited to hear that it might still be out there somewhere and hopefully still going strong!

I had a freshly rebuilt engine put in mine, taken from an E plate Cassis. The Cassis car was going to be used for parts, but they in turn got a decent used engine and now it is being restored. The pre 88 S4 engines were the best ones, they had better oil galleys and piston oilers.
I might not see it for a month or so, but I should get a peek at it at some point when mine goes in for some work. When I see it, I will let you know.
always a good day out - a splendid collection including his 928

I don't get people who make these modern renditions of old cars. If you want modern, buy a V8 Vantage or C7 Corvette. Both are modern equivalent of a 928 with a well balanced front engine, rear transaxle setup.
It's trying too hard, like the Nissan 400Z

I am an old git :-) Not too miserable though. Yeah sure the Singer 911's are cool and so are Elanor Mustangs. I guarantee you that if he sells two of those, it would be a miracle. Koenig and Strosek might have sold two when Pablo Escobar was buying but that was before bitcoin.
