Great idea to split the forum PH! And why not start off with a lovely pic of my 80's classic....

What age does a 911 have to be to be discussed in this "classics" forum as opposed to the "911" forum?

NIce but it seems something's gone wrong in the settings, as when i try to save this forum to my favourites, I get TVR Classics instead eek. Maybe simply labelling it 'classics' is the problem as that name is already taken?

Agreed, a classic section a great idea. My 3.2 SSE. Currently undergoing an extensive engine rebuild.

I quite liked it as it was! The Pistonheads Porsche forum was the busiest Porsche forum in the UK!

I wonder if the diversity will limit the amount of people who will see any particular threads?

ETA, but, I guess there is nothing to stop us posting our threads in the Porsche general forum!smile

Not at all. I feel guilty now about my air-cooled comment, I was just thinking 911.....Classics should (IMHO) be anything before 996/Boxster.
I love wide arch cars in general and always had a soft spot for the 944!
