Love it, your new ride?
Nope its lovely but gulf blue cabs don't float my boat although wouldn't say no to a new 991 Speedster. Amazing spec car though and the dragon and sprogs love her. I'm overseas permanently so have to watch their fun through the looking glass.200Plus Club said:
That 911 cab is a stunning car, so quick out of the box. What did the Mrs get at vmax 190ish first go? :-)
You'll know better than me Chris - I was busy doing other things - I believe she took delivery and yes the very next day she was at VMAX doing 203 mph on speedo so you're right 190 mph + GPS Thing that car has taught me it doesn't matter how much power you have in a straight line if you don't have braking and chassis to go with it really quite pointless. That cab would destroy a manual 800bhp 997 turbo with decent chassis and power mods around a track with your grandmother driving. Progress! Still love the 997

I’ll do standing mile at Elvington for a shake down test and try and hit 200mph within a mile from standing start then that’s my days of top speed runs over. Going to have fun at lower speeds on a tour through Eastern Europe

That's another beauty you have there. V envious ! Alfa build hit slight hitch with con rods but hopefully back on track now.
OK, I'll play. A somewhat impulse buy from a chap who had owned the car 15yrs and wanted to move it on. Collected it on a Wednesday and thought wouldn't it be fun to drive it to the Swiss Alps rather than my GT4. Set off for the tunnel at 6am Thursday morning.
1,900 miles covered with no issues. What fun.
Magnus later gave it the seal of approval
