After seeing the "time for tea" with magnus I have been looking at owning a 1970's 911 may be not a turbo but I would like one. Is it possible to do with £30k?

I have a mint very low miles tvr T350 so I am not looking for a shed if you know what I mean.

any thoughts would be a help even if its no way not for that money.

30K would get you a very good Impact Bumper (1974 - 1989), but if you want pre 74 you may be at the rusty end of the market. A couple of good forums to look at are DDK for the early cars and impactbumpers for 74-89.

Have a drive of a few before you make the move. I swapped a 4.0 Tuscan for a 964, and tbh at first wasn't particularly impressed. However the 964 had been a real grower and really like it now, it's a much better all rounder than the Tuscan and it doesn't feel anywhere near as fragile. That said I'm pretty sure I'll be back in a another tvr at some point..

This is the way to go. If you want an early feel, maybe a 2.7 or 3.0SC in a lairy 70s colour like brown!
