Never heard of them, wasn't aware any specialists were left in my area now that PSR has gone into temporary hibernation.

Where are they operating out of?

I'd recommend DSD. Dave lives in Ford End and thus can collect/deliver cars in our area. Failing that, I believe Autostrasse has risen from the grave, but I don't know who Alan is using as his technician. Ken has retired and I believe Harvey was going to work in Romford.

Alan posted on here some weeks ago stating they are open for business as usual. He didn't say whether Harvey was staying or had moved on...
Good news they have remained open with Ken retiring so will continue to use them as before.

Jaz are great, I've used them for years in Wembley and now at their new home in St.Albans.

Always lots of nice cars from early 911s, air cooled and watercooled cars in for work.

Plenty of Jaz support on PH.

Must speak to Steve Winter who was going to organise a PH open moring/evening in early March!wink

nope. Not on the radar tbh. There are plenty of reputable independents out there worth the effort travelling to...

They must be new. Never come across them. I might drop by Ridgewell to see if Nobby knows them.

I've only owned my 964 for a year. However, I've used JAZ several times for various jobs, big and small during that time. Both at their previous place in Wembley and now at their new St. Albans home.

Each time I've dealt with them I've been impressed by their knowledge, friendliness and no nonsense approach. Their charges are more than reasonable and they don't do work that isn't needed.

Indeed, they've stopped me from doing things once or twice. Even though the extra work would have earned them a few quid.

I'm back the next month for some suspension work. I don't plan on looking anywhere else for the upkeep of my car.

iirc the bloke at Porsche Dynamics used to work at OPC west London , I popped in there to have a look as its local , lots of Pork there .
Harvey is now in Hornchurch running Colwood motors , and I just had a look at PSR's facebook page and it looks like he is back up and running but now in Furneux Pelham https://www.facebook.com/pages/PSR-Automotive/1898...

I used Autostrasse in 2003 ( jeez where has the time gone ?? ) when I couldn't get my just bought Lhd black Mettalic 1980 SC running again.
I had tried everything, but within half an hour the boss rang with the sound of my car in the background ! I'm in the trade and have sadly been ( had over many times by people and so called specialists in the trade ) but he charged me £ very little.
I have nothing but praise for Autostrasse.

Well it's two years since OPs first post. Interestingly just watching The Sherriff's Are Coming TV programme and it seems they have been sued twice by customers recently. This may be wrong but worth checking before doing business with them.

I visited them, didn't like what I saw taking place and decided to give them a miss. Went to visit PSR or is it PRS? in his rather ratty barn who sniffily told me 'we only work on appointment' and turned his back on me! That's his second (and last) chance to get work out of me. Seems like Autostrasse will get my custom after all.

No, and neither is Alan. He has since moved on.

It's been in new hands for a while now.
