I visited them, didn't like what I saw taking place and decided to give them a miss. Went to visit PSR or is it PRS? in his rather ratty barn who sniffily told me 'we only work on appointment' and turned his back on me! That's his second (and last) chance to get work out of me. Seems like Autostrasse will get my custom after all.
Hi Rubystone,

I specifically remember the day as I had a 1 hour window to get some paperwork resolved for some invoices that had to be done there and then, which I did explain.

I am sorry that I had to say that we work on appointment only but I always have and especially now, more then ever. I have long waits on carrying out work for customers and I must deal with them in turn or work load only mounts up.

Again I just wanted to acknowledge your disappointment and try to explain, I was under a tight deadline and pressure myself that was not moveable and as such I was unable to stop what I was doing there and then to resolve your convertible roof issue which we had not made prior arrangements to do. I apologise if I wasn't as accommodating as I could have been if I had more time available.

All the best with the 944 and your other toys.

Always an excuse. I tried to make an appointment over the 'phone and you were too busy on a train to talk to me. Your attitude the day I dropped by was very poor and I was taken aback by it; no mention of paperwork to do, no offer to book me in, no offer of calling me. Just an obvious desire to get shot of me. Which you accomplished very well indeed. Not the sort of customer care I was told I could expect from you by others.

I wouldn't say an excuse, I was just trying to explain.

All I can do is apologise, I obviously didn't articulate myself as well as I should have or explained my situation clearly, my intention would never be to "get shot" of anyone ( this would offer no personal or commercial benefit to me) but apologies again if you felt that way.

I did however mention the work I had to resolve there and then (and apologised that it had to be done at the time) and I did also offer an appointment which was declined. I came out to the car with you where you asked if I could check your fuses there and then which was when I said I am sorry but I will need to make an appointment to investigate issues and that an intermittent fault was unlikely to be a fuse itself but maybe a corroded terminal/contact but starting at the fuses is the correct place to start.

However given we clearly have a difference of opinion it's probably best we leave it there, but regardless of this I am sorry for not managing the situation better.
