Hi All. Has anyone purchase a car from mr911? Clive seems a thoroughly nice guy, and everything I've searched he good so far, but I wanted to see if anyone has a personal experience? Just curious if people have chosen to have an inspection before purchase as well? Everything I read about Clive is all good here though.

Many Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

He's a good guy.

I've had 3 cars from Clive and I try to buy from or via him.

Clive is a very straight forward bloke! And his knowledge is very much up there.
He's good a Porsche background from his twenties!

I been buying through him since I landed in the UK in 2007...got me started with a 993 carrera, and since nothing more than:
993 turbo
360 Modena
Range Rover supercharged
Mercedes SL300 R107 gentle restoration (still own and run as a daily)
Range Rover Classic no2/25 25th anniversary (6mths full restoration, thx Clive)
997 GT3RS
Challenge Stradale
964RS
Mercedes G55 (still own and run as family wagon)
575 HGTC
430 Scuderia
Challenge Stradale (still own)

The first time I saw/tried a 993 it was actually his and I knew right away i had to had it..but he wouldn't let me have it before I went on see another 2cars I had taken an appointment with!!! Do you know many sales people who actually force you out of the door to go see others to compare!
Of course I came back a couple hours later, as his was indeed the best in my budget.

And since then I have bought/sold and restored quite a few cars through him. Every single car I've owned I have run st least 10kmiles and all have been flawless including the ferraris which I also run on track days!

Now I order cars from him and he hunts them for me as far as Austria and Italy - I buy without seeing them anymore, he delivers them home and I simply enjoy them. No fuss.

Anything, PM me

Another recommendation for Clive.

I bought my C2 from him, he was really helpful throughout. It was my first Porsche purchase and it was a huge deal for me. Wish I could have bought the turbo from him.

I would not hesitate to purchase from Clive again.

Just seen this and it’s shocked me .

Clive couldn’t have been 50?

Any idea what happened

Bought my first 996 GT3 off him in 2004 when he worked at 911 Box. Lovely chap.

Cancer unfortunately. Such a nice Guy. Will never forget buying my first Porsche (911 turbo) from him when my late Dad was not well himself.

Met him a number of times in Porsche circles.

Lovely guy . Again I’m guessing he was around 50?

Really sad to hear this
