Well put Sir !!
The idea is good (if Targas are your thing), but the execution less so. As you say, the Singer arches do seem to be devisive (personally I'm a fan) but the Targa rear quarter panel shape loses "something" (on all 911 iterations) when compared to those of the Coupe.
So even when Singer do it. it just looks in some way, "wrong" :

I can't help feeling we've been here before and the resale value will be similar.
im gonna come clean here. we built that in the mid 90s from a kit the customer got from the states, it was a rare beast a 3.3 turbo targa. the intercooler wouldnt fit due to that beautiful kit lol. it had two mg metro turbo intercoolers, one in each rear quarter rubystone said:
He's been building the second one for some time. When we last spoke, he offered either to me for in excess of £100,000....Has he reduced his price or increased it?
Saw him this week and he has someone on it, although he said he really wanted to keep the green one.Who knows? He did sell his 924 Le-Mans last week with only 12,000 miles
on it so maybe he will reconsider although everything is for sale with him if he gets the right price!
Either way it's still with him at the moment.
In summary:
1966 912 looks, period black leather interior with new door cards, carpets, period radio with ipod connection, prototypo steering wheel, new dashboard, broken dial replacements, heater controls overhaul, new front screen, shiny chrome bits.
Full brake system overhaul, new heater motors and other bits.
Exterior: colour change plus wheels, McQueen car bumpers, delete front fogs, long bonnet, chrome over riders, chrome sills, central exhaust pipes, sport exhaust.
New clutch and flywheel was done and engine rebuild also sorted earlier so for now the car is sorted.
Chuffed.......more pics to follow.....

At some Belgium garage they often sell specials for not that much.
This one a 911 ST look was 79k euro based on a 1985 pors, only the ride hight at the front needs to be lowered, but a lovely car for the money.
not sure if its sold? but they also have another I just saw on their website, for 75k euro a carrera RS rep with cage and all, sounds like a fair price.

those are in the UK, they also have some for sale and they also build those cars to taste, only know them from the web, but looks good.
there is also a blue car the PS lightweight with a 3.8 engine...sweet. And look at that white Touring R with also a 3.8, that interior, looks nice without paying the Singer price.
