How pleasant. Thanks for the insight. If you could read you'd see I'm well aware of that.
Dear Sir,Though Englisch is not my first language, I can read it quite well, thank you.
among other things I read, that, despite your experience with second-hand tires, you chose to fit them to your car again. Hence my commentary.
I would like to stress, that this only my personal opinion. I (and some other posters too, apparently) still think it's the one wrong place to save money when running such a car. However, if I have caused you any unpleasantness or have offended you in any way, I herewith offer my sincere apologies.
Again, good luck to you sir.

Thanks SRT. Always thought honesty is the best policy.
I'm actually confident in the life these have had and it's a short one at that as they're 2017 tyres (date code on them) and having spoken at length to the dealer who has a large well set-up outfit I am at least as confident in them as I would be in tyres that came on a used car that could have been on there for years. Again, in such a case anything could have happened to them but I think we can agree 90% of us would leave tyres on a used car we'd bought if they're a quality brand and appear fine with good tread.
Suspension on mine has been fully redone with adjustable H&R all round so she's handling nicely now.
Thanks all.
That seems a perfectly reasonable approach. You have tires with a 2017 date that have been checked and fittered by an outfit you trust. Any reputable tire outfit should visually check your tires inside and out for defects when fitting, even with new tires.I'm actually confident in the life these have had and it's a short one at that as they're 2017 tyres (date code on them) and having spoken at length to the dealer who has a large well set-up outfit I am at least as confident in them as I would be in tyres that came on a used car that could have been on there for years. £190 for the pair (P Zero N2s again) this time with 7mm tread, instead of around £165 each. .
Utter madness. You could have got yourself killed with the original ones you fitted. Part worn on a 993 Bridgestone S02A ........ (its not the great late S02 RIP ) but still a great tyre (and the fronts do mega mileage) are £100 per corner for the fronts. I'm now on my third pair

Fitting at my local ATS £35 for the pair inc balancing.
I understand all 2nd hand cars come with 2nd hand tyres, but your man maths are way out. You've saved yourself initially around half a tank full of gas......... for secondhand tyres. Unbeleivable
