No amber on VDO branded ones, only blue , if you want the same radio but amber you need the Conti, 3.2 instruments are lit white.... unless you've changed the bulbs that is....
Thanks Longman. Does anyone have a link to the correct Conti one, as I understand you need to chose the correct one for specific UK cars..?

Just a heads up, I fitted the Continental, looks great & works well. But fit a dashcam (& ive tried various ones) & they kill DAB stone dead.

Ive got the Continental DAB unit in my 996. It’s brilliant and looks pretty much stock. Works well with the Alpine speaker upgrade.

Got the stereo fitted, very happy with it and does not look out of place.. My only issue now is every-time I turn it on, the automatic aerial goes up, don't think there are any settings in the stereo to stop this from happening, anyone know? Maybe I should look to disable the aerial.. Most radio can be streamed anyway..

This isn’t an issue in my 993 as the antenna is in the windscreen. This antenna is however boosted via a cable that goes in the back of the radio (the blue one from memory).

I strongly suspect this blue cable will also be found in your car, and will likely activate the antenna.

You could try whipping the radio out and disconnecting the booster (blue) cable to see if that works? 5 min job max!

If you haven’t already seen it there is a wiring diagram in the radio’s instruction manual.
