I know nothing abut the car but spent a while looking at 964 RS’s last year. If that was away a Guards Red car I think it would be say £130 to £140k. There’s definitely a premium for Rubystone as it is such a popular and iconic colour. I would want to know why it was re-painted and ideally see pics of it before it got painted to make sure it wasn’t as the result of an accident. Some of the panels are numbered so you can check if they are original.
They say it has a superb history file which is great, check it thoroughly as they do sometimes seem to acquire extra history.
If it all checks out I think it is an okay price…not cheap but this is not a buyers market.

No...I pressed the "fk it life is too short" button and bought a 2.7RS.
I tried Paul McLean too and never heard back from him though I know a lot of people speak highly of him. The last 964 RS he had to my knowledge was the 25k mile Maritime Blue car that is still on his website....was for sale for ages and seemed well priced for that mileage/colour....but it's an NGT and I didn't want a stripped out car.
As a price comp JZM sold a Guards Red 964 RS that had been painted for £150k last autumn...can't remember the mileage but my guess is it was something like 50k miles. That car had previously been for sale at Ashgood for circa £170k.

Taffy66,
he may well be, but four attempts at contact and no replies doesn't make you think they'll be much response if anything went wrong ........

Hi Andy, I received an email from you about 6 months ago and replied. Hadn't heard anything since. Nowadays I find WhatsApp messaging much more direct and responsive. I will check with my spam folder tomorrow. Unfortunately I receive about 300 spam emails a day. It's torture.
