Morning All

I'm very tempted by the below but my pre 2000 Porsche knowledge isn't very strong.

What are peoples thoughts on this.

Good buy/Bad buy? Anything to look for? Is it a good price and likely to be a good long term investment? Could it be a bit of a money pit?

I would plan to garage the car and use on the odd weekend but circumstances could change so if i needed to sell in a few years I wouldn't want it to be a painful process.

Thanks in advance

I have no knowledge on that car, but did own a 1989 3.2 for a while - for living with them day to day they do feel significantly 'older' than the 964/993 for similar money.

...and if this is key, if I were you I'd buy a 'standard' manual coupe 964/993 for the same money as the above, knowing it will never drop in value and always be easy to sell.

That's a beautiful car in top condition by the looks of it done to a high standard. But i for one am not convinced of this back dating everything at the mo, i prefer the 1986 c2 look to be honest, if it was in standard form in that condition i'd be all over that. Not very helpful i know but i wonder how long the backdating thing will last.

Thanks guys.

You’re probably both right. I’ve always fancied an older Porsche and with the detailed work carried our on this one it should want for anything.
