...though if you're a stickler for factory standard cars smash, you may wish to step back out! biglaugh

One fine day in August, we decided to get 4 solid coloured 993s together for a bit of fun, photos, and a drive driving. Why? There's not so many brightly coloured 993's so it felt like great way to celebrate these fantastic cars, each one modified to meet their owner's vision bow. It was a long time in the making having bumped into each other at various events in the past, though not as a complete group. So, with a date finally set, location agreed - Caffeine & Machine - the excitement began to build spin.

What a day it turned out to be, all fantastic cars in their own right, together with a great group a passionate owners who aren't afraid to drive and enjoy their cars regularly thumbup. Thanks must go to 9WERKS & TOTAL911 for making the day come to fruition!

Oh, and despite our uncharacteristically searing heatwave this summer, the weather gods decided to arrange a downpour for us nono
after weeks of drought! In true UK fashion, weather didn't stop play....

I'll be posting a bit more on my IG account @ch3tman, but sharing a few highlights from the day below for PH viewing:

Just Wow!

Riveria was always my preferred option, until I saw that orange car.

Great pics too well done. Please can you photoshop out the woman/pram/pitbull out of pic 2 though .

Go for it - you won't regret it smokin. I'm 8-9 years into ownership and it's definitely a 'forever car' yes.

It's changed hands at least a couple of times since Jackal moved into F-cars redcard and appeared on Collecting Cars in that time in that time, too. Firstly, owned by PH'er barchetta_boy and currently a nice fellow who enjoys it when not in his M2 Competition or M3 CSL.

Thanks for the comprehensive replies. I wonder why it keeps being moved on?

But where is the silver-coloured model in your photoshoot above? hehe

I remember bidding on that yellow car on CC a few years ago. Didn’t really want RHD, so was a little too expensive for me. Still want it though - looks so nice, as do the others. Really want a 993

and so many others argh

Unfortunately there is currently a divergence between things I want and things I can afford smile
