So the next car is a 12C 'plus' to take on the speciale, and it will be a game changer?

In what way? Please elaborate.

Most choice tour of cars in the past twelve months.....

However, was the Macca and the GT3's lighter sibling that caught my eye.

So an S suffix edition of the 12C....will be the class leader...intriguing....650bhp...any more details to add at this stage?

Now for the RS....is July 14 a realists expectation...seems about 6 months earlier than i'd hoped?

The definition of an internet troll as I understand it has nothing to do with how many cars you may or not have..

what a fantastic list of cars, I thought I was bad for getting through them.
Only question I have is how on earth do you get to know the character of all if any of them? I find I only get to know a car once I've done a few thousand miles in them in all sorts of conditions.
Anyway you're a fortunate man, good luck to you.

Its an odd collection of cars really IMO.

Cause he seems to be able to drive them 10k miles and only lose 50 quid on them.

Yes he does, and he is well informed and interesting.

He will not post on subjects such as 'tunnel runs', coloured stitching and breakfast meets .

He will irritate some for sure, in a way that Brian Sewell would irritate a 'footballist', those that I doubt he would have much respect for anyhow.

He is in the business, had and has the cars most covet and in the privileged position to be party to some extremely relevant information relating to those marques. He will also speak the truth as regards what cars have cost him as regards depreciation etc. A rare quality, when compared to some of the ostriches on here.

My advice is to listen to him....you never know, you may learn something.

Ok so you are very very wealthy, would it be a too rude a question to ask in what field you acquired such wealth or was it family money?

Sir I have plenty to learn however I doubt from this chap.
Brian Sewell on the other hand, a great wit & raconter always a good read and his appearences on Question Time are always informative and entertaining..

Just seen a 458 Speciale on the road between Maranello and Modena - Rossa Corsa and lots of disguising 'tape'! No disguising the twin tail pipes and howl as the driver accelerated away from the roundabout. Would have given chase - but this rental Fiat Punto wouldn't drag the skin off a rice pudding!
Factory tour on Wednesday, so hopefully we'll see a few more examples then!

Yes, I basically agree with this, however, it is rather hard sometimes. On another thread he has completely taken apart anyone thinking about buying (or even liking) a P1, proclaiming the car to be basically a 'tarted up 12C'. Whereas the 918 which he had just ordered was clearly a properly thought through thoroughbred, and much more worthy of purchase than the half baked pretender that is the P1.

A couple of weeks later and the list above includes the potential purchase of a P1 depending on test drive!

I'm not a difficult or impolite bloke, but I do prefer contributions that are more reasoned and less designed to stir.

(I also struggle a bit with overt proclamations of wealth and one-upmanship on a forum that is supposed to be about cars and petrolheads - there are plenty of very wealthy people on here, so what?!)

The poster in question was also absolutely convinced of the superiority of the 918 over the P1 over their ring times before Mclaren had even finalized any announcement and basically dismissed anyone else's view on the prior B2G 7:04 time as simply a test run.... Somehow today his claim of the P1 being fast but not 918 fast looks a little less sure somehow...

lol.....guys not meant to willy wave as it were...Always some with more.....Happy with what I have

Can not say any more on the 12C-S, you will just have to wait.

The P1 was always on my radar, just required a test drive....

Don't mean to look like I have an axe to grind but can't help myself at this point.. some of your posts here and on the mclarenlife forum have been pretty hilarious.

APOLO1 said:
Nope, you are wrong the 918 is faster better built by a big margin and will hold its price better. The P1 is just 12c in drag...
APOLO1 said:
...,…Don’t get me wrong the P1 will be epic, but it will never on any track be faster than a 918 IMHO.......,
Still so sure....?
