Yes he does, and he is well informed and interesting.

He will not post on subjects such as 'tunnel runs', coloured stitching and breakfast meets .

He will irritate some for sure, in a way that Brian Sewell would irritate a 'footballist', those that I doubt he would have much respect for anyhow.

He is in the business, had and has the cars most covet and in the privileged position to be party to some extremely relevant information relating to those marques. He will also speak the truth as regards what cars have cost him as regards depreciation etc. A rare quality, when compared to some of the ostriches on here.

My advice is to listen to him....you never know, you may learn something.
Sir I have plenty to learn however I doubt from this chap.
Brian Sewell on the other hand, a great wit & raconter always a good read and his appearences on Question Time are always informative and entertaining..
He's an art critic fist and foremost. Not a panelist, and plays the pompous a**e very well as does Starkey.
There are parallels between Mr Apollo and the former. It's an act, a game not to be taken too seriously.
Both are knowledgable, both can be irritating.....but to doubt without foundation is pure folly IMO.

No, and rightly so. Let me know when you want to sell the 4.0....you can have my flappy paddle slot in return.

re: gt3 4.0's

the trick was to buy as many as you could and sell them on for profit (royal mail shares?), entirely justifiable to have had 3, imo.

I think you have to respect that while some people are keen to show off their car collections others are of a more reserved nature.

I think that the Speciale won't manage to upgrade the 458 as the Scuderia did on the 430 but it also has to be said that the 458 is already so good that is quite obvious that it would have been a difficult task...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm thinking of the Speciale as more of a '458 GTI' than a step change like the CS and Scud..

Nah, I reckon it could be great. Ferrari are so in form that I would be amazed if it was any kind of let down. I'm tempted...

+1
We'll have the usual it's a 458 with no carpets and a stripe brigade. Then the media will drive it and say its a great steer, then in a couple of years time every body will want one and the values will stabilise.
That's the way it works!.

Oh there's no green mist here, if you have what you suggest and have made the money yourself then mucho respect to you, to be fair though quoting figures on how much your paying for stuff and constantly talking about your latest super car purchase, because that's all you post about, is not reserved in fact some would say its actually a little crass.

But as they say, you can't buy class and style.

Good luck to you if you've managed to own all those amazing cars (well, if through money you've earnt yourself anyway), but as someone else has said it's hard to believe you could have really "connected" properly with that many cars in 12 months in order to form a valid opinion on them.

I reckon it takes weeks / months and many good drives to really gel with a car in order to make a fair assessment.
