If you're looking for a company a bit further North to do this, try these guys in South Yorks close to A1/M1 https://www.facebook.com/HydroPrecision
Have to admit to an interest, in that one of the guys who runs the company used to work for me. Their work is excellent though, and they're building a first class reputation. Even had a couple of the major manufacturers knocking on the door, investigating the possibility of bespoke editions using the technique.

nothing more tacky than fake carbon fiber imo
Some films are a lot better than others. Have a look at this centre console on a Merc SL55 AMGhttps://en-gb.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=50363027...
I personally wouldn't wear a fake rolex and I wouldn't 'wear' fake carbon fiber on my car either.
The reason why people think Carbon Fiber looks good is because of their association with it being an exotic, expensive lightweight material, nothing else.

I think the dipped parts in the photo's look fantastic, however I know plenty of lads with tuned Ford's who scoff at the idea of fake carbon parts on their cars (it really does carry a laughable stigma) never mind a Ferrari! For that reason alone I just couldn't do it to my 430 no matter how good I think it looks.
