Can anyone tell me if it s possible to find out how many of a specific car were made? I am looking for an F355 GTS, manual, with black leather and carpets but there just don't seem to be any around that I can find anyway.
Was wondering if it is possible to find out how many were made for the UK market to give me an idea of how readily available it may be?
Cheers

Ferrari figures aren't really available let alone broken down but depending on your source there could be about 150 or 25 manual red rhd 355 gts based on 50 % red if thats what you are after - red carpet gives a lighter interior with the black seats

Thanks, definitely after a dark interior to match my Giallo Integrale though. I kind of like it all black inside

When i was looking for my preferred spec i went to 2 local specialists to view their stock.

The best selling "spec" for them for a F355 was Rosso Corsa, GTS, Manual, Crema and red carpets.
next on the list was same spec with Black interior and red carpets .

They suggested that the best selling spec cars can sell very quickly sometimes instantly at right time of year, they both could offer me spiders in yellow or black with F1 box with complete black interiors.

The interesting thing was that it seems like me most new to the ferrari brand customers want the best selling spec (rosso,GTS,Man,Crema/red) but once you owned that combo the next ferrari car is less likely to be such.

for production and specs these may help (not read them all)

Thanks Kelly, a lot of useful info there. I've done the Rosso / Crema combo so might have to wait a while for the right spec.

I think you will find it was Bordeaux carpets rather than red.

F355 GTS Manual in Rosso Corsa with Crema leather and Bordeaux carpets, Challenge rear grill and capristo exhaust = HEAVEN

Never 'got' Crema myself, marks sooo easily and wearing dark jeans is a no-no. Tan then black are my favs although tan can also show denim marks as well.

Well thats almost my car then. (on the look out for rear grill and cant find one at present)

Apart from i have the rare factory carbon fibre bucket seats too (hence the perfect spec i was after and very luckly timing helped to find it), and i have test pipes to fit soon when the engine comes out.

Is it a recent purchase as BHP have had one for sale with the carbon seats in for a while now. The standard Recaro's are great and remind me of my RS Turbo days but the Carbon Racing seats would really finish mine off and set it apart from the rest.
Just not sure about tampering with the original spec too much. I'm still storing the backbox so it can be returned to original so I think I would have to do similar with the seats if I can ever source some without selling a limb

The car came from private guy on PH, the seats are factory fit option,it also has different factory uprated roll bars,Air bag delete with challenge style steering wheel and different sat nav stereo, But i do have ALL the original factory parts.

The main thing is it can be put back to complete original spec when being sold all thou i dont intend on selling soon.

If you can find one the fiorano pack makes the car feel much sharper and very planted. I owned 3 355 before finding my ideal spec.
