Hi guys hope you re all well. Was just reading into the threads and done some own research. People comparing the prices of these to be like the 599 s in the future. I m planning on purchasing one. Would you say to get a manual coupe or spider. Usually spiders hold more value what do you guys suggest?
Sadly my crystal ball is off for its annual service, so I can't predict the future. However looking at prices now vs when I sold mine 18 months ago, and again with when I bought it 3 years before that, coupes and spiders haven't really diverged by much. The spider has a premium as it always has, but the size of that premium is pretty static.

My advice is the same as it always is when someone asks a question like this; get the one you want to own and drive.

Agree get the one that feels right for you. However, you’ll be aware manual coupes are very rare. Always a few Spiders available for sale and for manual F430s I would suggest coupes are therefore at a premium.

I suggest you go in with your eyes open and seriously think about the cost of maintenance. Just because a car may hold its value doesn't mean you'll be quids in when you come to sell it. Very likely the opposite.

a manual 599 is a truly rare car (I think 30ish produced), a manual 430 is definitely not in the same category - it is not even close I think in total (coupe and spider) it will be a low 4-digit figure.
I suspect by now pretty much all manual 599s are in collections (I think there is one for sale in Germany atm). I looked at one of those (a black one) about 15 years ago for c. 95k Euros from memory.

having said all that, asking prices for manual 430s in Germany look to be a lot higher than in the UK, so there might be a trade in that if the German cars are selling at those prices. This has happened in the past, that cars in the UK lagged the value uplift of LHD cars (the RHD 599 HGTE is another example of a car that is currently trading below its LHD counterparts).
In the past this was the case for the M3 CSL for while as an example (might have had to do with production numbers as the UK got a high percentage of total global production)

That's been doing the rounds in various FOC groups today, laughable. Almost as funny as the plate and its positioning.

Well I'll grab some popcorn and enjoy watching. There's similar silliness over the pond, how closely are the markets linked? Noting actual sales at this level appear to be occurring there.

The Ferraris with a manual gearbox have been fetching big numbers on the BAT auction site in America, most of them low mileage mind you.
