There were a few of these around ten years ago. I went to look at this on a whim as it was cheap to start with. To be fair it wasn't terrible. The guy was so desperate to sell it he offered it to me for £18k.
I still walked away as the gearbox was whiny so there was £5k to be spent right there.

And there are plenty of unmodified LHD 348's in this country that have been for sale for the last 3 years that are still for sale - So what? For Europe the car is over-priced, and for the UK, despite what the Ferrari LHD fanboys on here will tell you, LHD Ferrari's are simply not popular in this Country, and take longer to sell than RHD cars.
Don't believe me? - Take a long, multi-month/years look at the various Ferrari models for sale, note the LHD cars (complete with their lower than RHD prices), and see how well they're selling - I'll give you a clue: They're not selling!
Added to that, it's a non-standard, molested car that will put the majority of buyers off as it hints at a dubious past and is not to eveeryone's taste, and as with most sellers, they seem to think that if they hang on long enough, someone will eventually pay the price they want for the car.
If you want a 355. Buy a 355. As rephill said , some that are modified in this way tend to hide a dubious past, and the eindhoven dealer has loads of cat d equivalents on their books. They dont hide from it. You get what you pay for. Modding a ferrari like this wrecks 99% of your customer base unless you are prepared to almost give it away. At the right price I personally would be aiming to return it to original.

It's a Japanese car. The Japanese are really into modifying their Ferraris and a very high percentage are modified. I'm sure there are more modified Ferraris in Japan than in the rest of the world put together.
