THIS IS FOR EVERYONE TO ADMIRE AND FOR 1 LUCKY INDIVIDUAL TO TAKE HOME AND ENJOY PLAYTIME, VIP, CELEBRITY, HOLLYWOOD "A" LIST YOU WILL INHERIT ALL THESE TITLES SAT BEHIND THIS WHEEL, THIS CAR DEMANDS A 21 GUN SALUTE AS YOU DRIVE PAST, SHEER DISTINCTION AND CLASS ALL IN ONE, IT'S EXQUISITE FINE DETAIL AT FIRST GLANCE WAS MORE ENOUGH TO EXCITE THE EYES, FAR FROM CLICHE IT SEEMS, THE VEHICLE WILL BE A HEARTBREAKER WHEN IT GOES, NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING WILL COMPARE TO THIS AT THIS LEVEL OF MONEY, SPECIAL CHARMING INTERIOR WITH HAND-STITCHED LEATHER TO THE DASH AND DOOR CARDS, .... THIS CAR MUST HAVE OVER £30,000 IN EXTRAS???? LIKE WE NEEDED ALL THE SPEC AS WELL,THIS CAR HAS HAD EVERY OPTION TICKED
The description of the car on their website makes my teeth itch.. That being said on the face of it it's a decent spec.

Contrary to the above it hasn't had every option ticked, and £30,000 is obviously a figure pulled out of the air. There are a number of missing carbon bits but excluding the dash inserts it's all pretty crazy expensive exterior stuff and is rare to find. I'm being pedantic though - it's a very good spec I think, above average for sure.

Purely based on the ridiculous description I would be getting an inspection etc. The Ferrari Power warranty doesn't cover oil leaks and they can lead to some expensive failures (I speak from experience).

Seems like a good price though so depends on your comfort level really, as it might not hang around for too long. Hopefully someone else will be along to vouch for the car.

Edit: Does it have the 7 year service agreement? The advert doesn't say and you would've thought it would given it pretty much stopped short of saying that the car was actually Jesus Christ incarnate.

I don't want to put you off the car really, as description aside it looks like a well specced example at a good price. If it's as described I wouldn't imagine it would hang around long. The dealer has quite a lot of expensive metal so it's not like these bizarro descriptions are hurting their sales...

Having the Ferrari warranty is obviously a big plus and should be piece of mind. The big ticket items are included. If you get the opportunity check the shocks for any leaks - as they aren't covered and a leaking shock is knackered.

Perhaps put a holding deposit down and negotiate an inspection? Stratstone Ferrari is about 23 miles away it seems.

I've just had an insurance quote through Admiral and I'm shocked to see it's £200 a year less than the C63!!

Get an agreed value policy imo.

I went with AIB (Hiscox) for mine. Won't be as cheap as Admiral but had agreed value and various other perks.

So I've had the car for a couple of weeks now and I'm absolutely loving it. I do have one issue though as my 4 year old girl adores it but so far haven't taken her for a drive for obvious reasons.

What's everyone's opinions? She is really tall for her age and would sit far back from the airbag and some people would say she'll be fine on a booster but I'm a little unsure?

i take my 3yr old in the Stradale all the time (every weekend) - i fitted a babyseat and put the seat as back as it would go and all good. My boy is too short/small for a booster, and it's nice for him to be able to enjoy the view too. He absolutely loves it.

I too found the 458 a big leap over the 430, before I settled on something else, but I found dealer test drives too brief and often over smooth featureless roads that were unrepresentative.

There are a few biz's doing weekend hires for sensible prices - http://sportshire.co.uk/fabulous-ferrari-458-for-h...

My 430 has passenger airbag deactivation - was this not standard?
