Hello,

I have this part on my F360 that came off (both sides), got one new, but anyone does how to put it in place? Mechanics says it should be screwed underneath, which means totally unmounting the dashboard...

Thanks!

I have the same problem. Im thinking screwing from underneath as well. Double sided tape will not pull it down into the foam as it should.

I was considering putting silicon glue in the holes and put the part under pressure during drying with some foam stuck against the windshield...

Take the dash out - it's only 2 hours or so to remove. Anything else is going to be temporary at best.

Two hours, you are joking, I don't believe that.

Bring your car to me and I'll pull the dash out and bill you 2.5 hours. No joke.

What a coincidence, I put that dash back in today! 3 hours to re-install. The additional time comes from having to thread all the fasteners in loosely, move the trim panel into the correct place and then tighten the fasteners - repeat for each panel. There would also be a modest cost of new clips for some trim panels as they always break on removal.

Having the dash out is also a good time to inspect the re-circulation flap mechanism and repair if needed.
