Great result.

Insane money for the crashed car.

Interesting to see Admiral trying to lowball the car value. They have a rep for that. Which is why their premiums tend to be lower in the first place.

Pleased for the owner, great result, I had something very similar back in the day with a Nissan Navara, it was a year old, crashed, not my fault, payout was not enough, no GAP insurance, asked for my truck back and had to fight for it because it was CAT B break only and I didn't have a salvage licence which I believe you still require? purchased for 700 quid, sold on fleebay for 4k a week later, went to Poland, no register there!!,
3k is a crazy price and salvage companies do get break only cars for a fraction of the cars value but still, that is a mad price, well done, I bet you couldn't pay quick enough!!.

Good result.

But why did you accept an Auto as the replacement, I would have thought the only fixed criteria would be manual?
