Yes, Glacier White Lux launch car. Arrived a fair while ago at Ascot but PDI and a silly schedule my end have meant having to grab it Friday. Saw Woppum last night with his Saros Lux car; they really are king of the road. So much presence. If anyone is on the fence about getting one, go for a test drive ASAP! Bonkers breadth of ability.

As a 675lt owner I have to say I'm looking forward to real world reviews of the 720s.I have only seen the car once in a dull grey which did it no favours but it still looked mighty.Am I alone in being mildly alarmed by the sheer number of LT Spyders for sale ahead of 720s deliveries?The two are no doubt connected and I'm sure the LT will be fine when a few get sold but there must be well over half the UK build run of the Spyders up for sale just now...!I guess the McLaren fraternity see the 720s as so broadly gifted that a 675lt becomes superfluous,which is understandable,although personally I'll be keeping my coupe for a long time to come yet.Looking fed to giving the 720s a go though of course...
If you are only running 1 supercar and want the latest and greatest I guess you have to make room for the 720S by offloading the LT.
With prices for LT spiders being high and at their peak during the summer months you are probably better getting out early than leaving it too late hence the volume for sale. Supply and demand will probably put downward pressure on the price for the next 6 months

Mark, seeing as you appear to be the only real, independent person in the solar system who's actually had a few days behind the wheel of this car can I ask a question?Aside from all the usual "It's newerer and betterer" reasons would you say the 720S is a significantly better car than a 650S or 675LT? I mean as in "Oh my effing christ, this is a significantly better car than a 650S or a 675LT"

its undoubtedly better than the 650S but £100k better I doubt very much. I still find some of the looks a little challenging and its very HYPERcar to me.
I'm glad I sat this one out but don't worry the next McLaren is on order but there are 2 "others" on order as well in the meantime provided the timings is correct

(in before people start saying they're teenagers and won't buy a car blah blah blah. There were 6-7 supercar owners that turned up, all the kids have parents, and besides I was a teenage scrote one day & I've now bought one). Great afternoon.

As for the car - wow. I parked next to a 488 last night; made it look like vintage shoe. This is a car that needs to be seen and driven to be appreciated. For that budget I think you'd be mad to buy anything else, I really do. Superb manners around town but LUDICRIOUS fast, and conversation stopping looks. And British
