Hi all, a newbie to the Mclaren having come from a highly tuned Noble 3R.
The answer is yes, it feels faster and the pickup is much quicker. Only trouble is inmiss all the pops on the overrun and whooshes from the dump valve.
The quality for a low volume manufacturer is incredible and is light years ahead of my lovely old Noble.
Still in honeymoon stage and loving it. It had almost 29k of extras and such a classic Mclaren understated colour!!!! biggrin

Pleased to have been part of your journey Paul and congrats on such an awesome step up! Could not have gone to a better new owner! I promise to find your 3R an equally good new home smile

Out of interest, what have you decided re the front plate - better on or off?

Hi Arthur,
No plates yet, will leave it like that and see how it goes. If the weather sorted itself out I could get to drive and know it a bit better. So far it's just sat it the garage with me staring at it!!!
Brought an indoor car cover for it (see, it's started all over again!!! biggrin)

Hey Paul - that really is lovely - superb colour choice smokin

A natural upgrade from your lovely old Nob! I remember our runs out over the Devon hills, me in the GT3 watching your rear end disappear into the distance hehe

Hope the weather clears up soon for you, so you can get her out of the garage and on to the road! driving

Yes, we've taken the plunge!!! Got a great price for my Noble, and it seemed to be a good time to buy.
Ever since in was a kid with the Lamborghini Countach poster on my wall, I've always wanted a sports car with "lambo style" doors and now i have them!!
Its a great bit of kit, very different to what i've been used to.
