Are 458 prices on the way up?

I'm trying to find a well spec'd, low ish mileage 458 Italia for a customer of ours and I can't believe how expensive they are now.
Even trying to find one with carbon seats, carbon interior and lift seems impossible for under £160k now.
Has anyone bought or sold one recently?
Customer has £150k and that seems like the starting price for a 8 year old one with 20k and basic spec!!

I think the market is completely flat at the moment, even some pressure forcing prices down a bit.
A lot of the cars seem to have been for sale for a while, if you see one you want it's worth making an offer.
Carbon seats are a must have IMO, plus carbon interior, shields, 20" diamond cut wheels.

Remember new Ferraris had a 7% price rise in Jan, that's probably helped keep the price of everything relatively high as now buying a new car is more expensive, your looking at £230k for a decent spec 488 new including several months wait. The other option is a used one and prices for good used ones are almost as much as buying new. There is a very long wait for a spider. The best option if you want a modern Ferrari quickly is a 458, I bet lots go for that option and its keeping prices nice and high.

I've been watching the spiders for the last few months and they don't seem to be shifting. The lovely blue one with 17k has been reduced and has been for sale since Feb. The other blue one with half the mileage has now been reduced to the same price as the high mileage one.
I'm off into Europe heading for Austria in my 458 Spider for it's 5th Euro tour tomorrow. I wouldn't sell it nor swap it for a spanking new 488 Spider, ever. We've had too many adventures to part ways.
When I get back I have 2 days and then a 3 week tour down to Southern Italy in my F12. I wouldn't part with that either.

We're off next week in the 458 Spider to Paul Ricard for the French GP and then some time on The Riviera. Also wouldn't consider selling it. Re price discussion - I get mine valued for insurance by a main dealer each Spring and this year they increased the insurance value by £5k versus last year. Whether this tells you anything I don't know.
I think they might be softening a little as looking on the classifieds there suddenly appear to be more starting with a 14.
However, none of these have what i would call my must have spec ie racing seats, carbon dash inserts and drivers zone. My thing was finding those that had that spec at a reasonable price.
Having been looking for a 458 muself i do see a lot which have been advertised for a while.
Just wondering Rich, dont work at a main dealer in Wiltshire by any chance? Your brief sounded very much like my position.
Anyway, as i am writing this i am on the train to Leeds to collect my new 458 which i paid just over the 150 mark. Cant wait for the 3 and half hour drive back home:-)
