Although i have had a speciale from new and getting an 812 i have not been fortunate enough to get a Pista. I did also purchase a new 488GTB from the same dealer..
Hearing some people are getting Pistas as their first F car!

I'm surprised you didn't get a Pista with a Speciale from new, and with an 812 on order. The dealer sounds odd; anyway the market is extremely weak right now, even among hard-to-get supercars so I would try again; you might find your luck mysteriously changes.

No harm in pushing. Have an open mind.

That really shouldn’t be possible...... but not unheard of.

A question to all Speciale owners - apologies for going slightly off topic, but figured most of you will be chatting on here. Is the front suspension lift option crucial on these cars. The lack of it on GT3's / RS's makes a huge difference come resale time - whats the deal on Speciales?

Had my Speciale for many years, no reason for a lift as front end is barely lower than any normal car. Just another way to get xxx amount out of initial sale. My splitter is still in one piece after all these years

We don't have the lift on our Speciale or on our 997.2 GT3RS and it is much more of an issue on the GT3RS. The front splitter on that car is considerably lower than the Speciale. We have the lifter on our 458 Spider and often use it for speed bumps etc for peace of mind but sometimes don't and as long as you're not silly it's usually fine.

I have never had a lift system on any of my Ferraris. Over the past 15 years in 10 different cars I remember ever thinking darn i need it. I however have succumbed to it and have added it on my pista spec.
As to the original question of the thread I am keeping my speciale and scud when the pista arrives. I have gone for Argento Nurburgring with Viola dino stripes. Can’t wait for its arrival.
