Any comments on recent (within the past year or two) work done appreciated. Prefer within an hour's drive of London.

Shopping around as best practice and due to price variences.

Cheers

For TR family experience would suggest KHPC or Autoficcina

Thanks JR, I know Elias at Autoficcina, theyre really close, will check their prices out. KH are a bit far but good, yes.

I was very impressed with the work that Supercar Italia in Biggin Hill did for me recently.

I've also used Autofficiana a few years ago and had good results.

They were rebuilding engines from several classic Ferraris when I was there.

I have used SMDG in Dorking and Autoffincina (or however it is spelled)
Both good outfits that know their way around the cars very well, SMDG I think was cheaper by enough to make the journey worthwhile for me at the time

Another recommendation for AV Engineering - Ed in particular has a lot of experience with Testarossas

Elias and Peter at Autofficina. Peter owns one and Elias is factory trained (He PPI'ed them back in the day).

They looked after mine for years and sorted issues that other specialists failed on

How about Keys Motorsport, Silverstone? I've used them, so has my brother. They seem well regarded and always have some Testarossas and BBs on site.

I've used Aldo at Riverside. Very nice guy who clearly knows his stuff.

Used QV for the last two years (Windsor).

AV Engineering get a big thumbs up from me - they've literally saved me thousands with my recent engine problems by giving advice over the phone. They are ~85 miles from me, but I will seriously consider using them from next year (assuming I haven't ditched my car).

Paul Coster in East London worked on my car while I was in London and I was very happy with him. Not sure if he still does Ferraris

SMDG - Steve has maintained my 308 for over a decade now. Highly recommended.

Can I veto this? I have not had the same experience as you.
