California hunt has begun. The above car is coming up for sale, if anyone knows of it’s history I’d be most grateful to hear from you...

Here's what I have:

Grigio Silverstone with Cuoio interior

Supplied new by Meridien Modena on 1 Jan 2010. I think 2 owners.

For sale at Maranello's July 2014 to September 2014 (initially quoting 6,529 miles, then 7,824 miles, then 7,989 miles - don't know what happened there but the latter ties in with the MOT history - asking £112,850 then £109,850). Service history with Meridien and then Maranello's.

I'd wager that the California is perhaps the most plentiful model for sale in the UK - consistently north off 100 of them for sale on AT.
Why the need to look into a particular car...? Not being funny....

Surely it is irrelevant how many might be for sale. If someone wants to buy one then ultimately they will always end up looking into a particular car won't they? How do you buy a car otherwise?

Spot on. Just reaching out on the off-chance someone on here might know of the car. You’re absolutely right, since this one is local to me and my preferred colour/spec etc then it’s worth me going to see it.

Curious to know how F12 DCW is a 2010 car assuming that is the Reg ?

Perhaps this might be of interest ?

Because F12 is a private/ cherished plate rather than xx12 xxx which is date related.

Maybe so but that is all the N/A and Turbo models of course. I'd always do research before buying any car, especially Ferrari. My old F430 didn't sell at a dealer due to an interesting history but in fact was fine but the assumption was negative.

Sorry I don't think I did a very good job there did I.

The OP's post read as though he wanted to know about that car purely as it was "coming up for sale", I think what I was getting at was that there are enough Cali's out there to look at in a spec for most tastes without waiting for a specific one to come up for sale.

Unless the OP has rules-out all equivalent cars for whatever reason!

That this car is local to the OP and in his prefered spec totally explains it.

Is this the one with the Chocoliato Interior - I think that one look fantastic, but just missing the carbon Steering wheel if it's the one I think it is....

I think the carbon steering wheel can be retrofitted. I enquired in 2010 and it was about £5k then.

Didn't test drive it, just got to know the history and seller. No rush...

Yes, I like the one at BJC, just haven't been over that way yet.
