Looks great for the price/age/mileage. There is outstanding finance on it, but I suppose that will be taken care of during sale proceedings. But why so cheap? Anyone know anything about this car?

Suggest a Google search of the dealer. Then make your own mind up about whether you would want to buy from them.

Car looks odd, roof is terrible and carbon rear bit just don’t work, will Ferrari put a warranty on it?

Ferrari will put a warranty on it subject to an inspection which costs around £680 ish, the warranty is then £3250.

When I tried to buy a car privately and paid for the inspection Ferrari managed conjure up a bill of over £8000 in work required in order to get the warranty applied....... the seller refused to knock the price down by much, Ferrari bought the car instead of me and retailed it for £20k more than I was going to pay for it.

Copy of the report available on request, an absolutely
Hideous tactic.

Haha that’s a typo as it’s only £70 odd in total.

Surely the dealer saved you all that money by finding a fault with the car that is not an unheard of fault.

I guess when you didn't buy it, the seller offered it to them (or perhaps they approached the seller) - it would be an easy and cheap fix for them and they would have a large margin in it but it would cost you 8k.

LAM80W, if that was a red/cream 2010 car i also considered it. I was concerned by the owner not living in the country and not being present for the sale. Interestingly it was with GP a long time before it was either sold or removed from sale. It then reappeared late (winter) last year for sale.

I bought another 458 from a different dealer in the end.

The spider subject of this thread is cheap and that concerns me so I would be very thorough before buying it. The roof is very weird so if want to know what is going on there.

That's just unfair. I would have been in touch with Ferrari to report this...unless the faults were genuine...who knows

I'm not 100% sure but if that car has/had a 11 CTY plate on it, it's an ex hire car.
