Great question. Ocon seems unable to show his ability at the moment. Not saying Ricciardo won't perform but he's had a few years at the sharp end. These youngsters have a refreshing approach to their racing and are performing at a high level comparative to vastly more experienced (and tens of millions more costly) team leaders.

Many of us don't have Sky or want to give them our money. We have to wait until the Ch4 highlights, avoiding the news on TV and radio along the way.

Think of us poor unfortunate souls who were looking forward to the first race after months of delays, only to be greeted on the forum by this massive spoiler. Nice.

Its just a general courtesy thats been followed for several years on the boards that details are not put in the thread titles, it's not hard to do.

As it turned out it was entertaining and i shall actually watch it live next week...i should do as i have the F1 package but seldom watch it nowadays.

Out of curiosity, do you have to wait until after the news at ten to post anything about the result just incase some poor soul missed the ch4 +1hr highlights?

A few years ago I was out of the house all afternoon and missed a GP. Rather like The Likely Lads with their football match (our older readers will understand) I studiously avoided all media until I was able to watch the late night repeat, only for some pillock to post the result in The Nostalgia Forum on Autosport!

There is a thread running as the GP goes on which contains all the spoilers so you can post when you like, but is it really so hard not to put them in the title of a thread? You don't see threads with the football results as titles, it takes no effort whatsoever not to spoil it for others so why bother?

Turn off phone
Don't look at Insta,Twitter,Facebook ETC
Turn Off TV
Turn off radio
Don't leave the house (should be good at that)

Book into a soft sound proofed padded room

Remove yourself from daily life

Just get a life
