Not sure about that to be honest as it looks too low.
Will look better with the smaller legal + 1cm size to character number plate but guess the front camera stops you putting it up on front edge of bumper.
I think I would attach it by double sided tape to the 2 middle uprights

What does that size of plate look like Fezzamania?

Does that mean a cut down plate at the sides? My 458 arrives next week and I have a similar dilemma…I’ve bought one of the clip on brackets.

I have a 5 character private plate with standard street legal font and from memory the plate is 355 x 111 cm so take another character off for that reg and it would be circa 305 x 111 versus that as standard at 520 x 111 so over 20 cm shorter

I’ll be honest, I’d rather sacrifice the front camera and stick the plate to the front bumper at mid height.

Once I have the correct size plate it’ll look just fine. Not only is the current plate to wide it’s been stuck low on the plate mount.

I agree looks wrong with full size plate, but It’ll look spot on once you get the smaller plate and set a touch higher on the mounting. The four dot front plate would be tiny with that reg number and sit almost flush to the bumper. Car looks stunning, enjoy in good health.

NOT legal. You are rolling the dice as to whether you will be stopped and fined.
Depends on your constabulary.

Don't get why supercar owners think they can rewrite the rules

You might as well not bother if you’re only going to comply with the “spirit” of the law. In my opinion you’re more likely to wind up a cop with a plate like that because it’s obvious you know it should not be like that so it’s like you’re sticking two fingers up at the law.

Not having a plate at all, in contrast, you could perhaps explain away as not having anywhere to mount it. You’ll probably still get a bit of a telling off but maybe not a ticket.

On the 550 you have a similar dilemma, with a normal size plate you will either be blocking the radiator (very bad) or it will be so low to the ground it will definitely contact and either fall off or be ripped off (also not good) - so I went with the next size down from legal I could find. 10,000 miles later and I haven't had any issues

I have seen Carbonio's products, very nicely made, yet to try one

I have a proper plate on my 458 but have decided not to bother with the Atom on the basis that you get into less trouble with no front plate than with a non compliant plate. For foreign travel perhaps another solution may be necessary.
