Any owners with recommended phone mounts for 458.
I probably should use phone's nav rather than the factory from what I read.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations

I use one which fits into the cupholder and then is adjustable to make it a tight fit, with an adjustable arm on which the phone fits. This is because I won't have coffee in the car and I didn't want to fit anything to the air vents and the screen is too far away. Something like this:

It works pretty well although the phone is not at eye level.

Yes thanks for your suggestion, I did see these but as I was primary going to use my phone for Satnav then eye level would be ideal. I could run a charge cable under the carpet from the centre consul where the lighter socket is and I am sure I can get it up to the dash are. Don't want to tinker with electrics and possibly void my warranty. Thinking a mount somewhere close to the right had top vent. I don't want to risk a vent mount but maybe a magnetic with 3m sticker. I may have to think about protecting the carbon fibre from the long term effects of 3m tape, maybe overthinking it but a PPF patch may be ideal.

On Ming's recommendation (there's another very similar thread knocking about) I went for the cup holder option and it's good. I use it for Waze and have no issue with it being a bit lower. I have a iphone max and it was too big and heavy for the vent based holders, they did work but were unconvincing and always felt like they were about to fall off and also parts of the phone or wire would rub on the carbon fibre. Only problems with the cup holder version is it really blocks the heater controls and is a big old ugly piece of plastic that doesn't do much for the interior aesthetics, still think it's the best option though.

What about something that sticks to the glass?
Not great if you need to keep it on-charge, but not sure that's a massive concern these days?

I use the cupholder solution but with an iPad mini which sit's nicely below the heater controls 👍
