been looking at these recently, there's a HUGE difference in RHD prices to LHD, like 50% different, what's that about?
Optimistic pricing I'd hazard a guess

RHD is obviously preferred in the UK and rarer in terms of build numbers.

There was a big difference between LHD and RHD a few years ago which had started to close. However, certain dealers (I'm thinking one in particular) in the UK got greedy and started importing LHD by the truck load. After Brexit and the change in exchange rate, and for whatever other reasons, the dealers then dumped their LHD stock onto the UK market with the obvious impact on values.

Over time, this increased number of cars will be absorbed or exported and the values will change accordingly IMO.

I've seen a very low mileage car in red but am nervous about it developing big bills when I start to put realistic miles on it, thoughts?

also, would have preferred a subtler colour.

There's no point paying the premium for a low-mileage car. Save yourself £30-40k, buy one that's been driven and cared for, and enjoy every mile. They are sublime cars and I bitterly regret the day I sold mine.

I have a 60k mile car and up until it went to be repainted it was used as a daily runner. They aren't as mileage sensitive or fragile as other models in my view..

Isn't that strong money for an LHD, even at that mileage? Mine has almost double that, but wouldn't expect to see £100k.

I've seen it. The condition, provenence and service history is first class. The interior is almost like new and it has rare modular wheels and quilted leather parcel shelf.

Its very strong money for LHD even with all the extras. I can confirm 100% LHD one's are not selling for that kind of money.

Out of a total of 77 cars going under the hammer at Silverstone's May Sale this weekend I count 14 Ferraris, but not a single Maranello, which seems odd given how many are listed for sale on here.

https://silverstoneauctions.proxibid.com/asp/Catal...

100% of cars listed 'with no reserve' would be expected to sell at auction wink

That is a very low mileage high spec car though, and in the right colour.

And in reply to an earlier post I have a high mileage (59k) LHD Grigio Titanium 550 and have decided to keep it-and drive it. Yes, for what I'd currently get for it I could have a nice say, Maserati, but the 550 is a stunning car that will always be 'the dream'; a manual two seat V12 Ferrari and I think that the market will ultimately reflect that.

To be honest you can pick up a 50k miles one for that in RHD for similar money here in the UK. This one looks pretty nice in the colour combo:

Hmmm, the Pininfarina badges on the front wings are stuck in completely the wrong position. Sloppy. What else isn't right that can't be seen?
