Not done the specification yet as I won't be getting a car for two years I reckon but I've done the spec on the configurator and I'm thinking it will be just over £300k. I'm not sure how much the special paint is yet so that will make a difference. I'm liking red at the moment but which one? I like the 70 anniversary colour, mugello, f1 2007 and maybe berlinetta so I need to see the colours on some cars hopefully.
As I'll be waiting a few years I would like a car to fill the gap and as I have kids I thought it might be nice for them to be able to enjoy the car as well.
What made you change the ff?
Just FYI the special triple layer paints you mention are just over £15k, the F1 2007 is a 4 layer so just over £20k

I went from FF to California T and now maybe to Lusso..., just moving on really

Oh dear, I knew they were over £10-12k but that must have been an old price!

You were on about having a grey one in a previous post, still the plan? I've had Grigio silverstone on the 612 and I really liked that for a gunmetal type colour. I do like the reds on the big v12 cars though. Canna de fucile looks good as well. I saw a car on auto trader in that colour a few weeks ago.

I'm liking beige tradizione and cuoio (just need to decide which) for the interior. With various accents etc.

I did one on the config a few days ago in Canna de fucile with Rosso & charcoal interior, I think I found my perfect spec.

Generally I like the big V12 cars in subtle colours, my 575 is TDF, the FF was nero, however the 812 has so much presence I'm not sure it suits them.

When I went to Maranello I was convinced I wanted the 812 in grey with sabia.....but having seen the car in the flesh it's such a beast, and then I saw them on the line in Silverstone and TDF and they just didn't suit the car IMHO

I've lost count of exactly how many times I've taken my 360 back home to Denmark but given that I'm on 105,000 miles currently you can imagine its more than a few driving

These seem to be holding there values.
Whats the consensus on them ?
I missed the boat with the 599, i was on them when they had dropped to 80's, went off them due to a project & then they jumped up.
I've seen a few decent FF's around 140k ish.
If bought private or from a non franchised dealer, does the 7 year servicing still stand ?
I assume from this thread they like mileage ? How does the brakes & tyres wear ?

good to hear that you still have the 360 and it is still going strong. I had to sell the 355 after putting about 20k on it during my 2-and a bit years of ownership ... still miss that car a lot. You still getting it serviced at Paul's place?

I have really missed my FF, I still maintain that it's the best car Ferrari make.

Not the most exciting, but the best, so much so in fact that I've just ordered and put my deposit down on a new Lusso.

It'll be great to have one back.

I had a 458 for a week & i wasnt keen on it. Far too snappy & aggressive.
How did you fair with running costs on the FF. Did you buy an extended warranty ?

Mine was within the 4 year factory warranty / free servicing so in terms of running costs there was nothing.

The only thing was depreciation which was moderately chunky!!!

I'm looking at 13 / 14 - I dont think they'll drop much more at that.

Thanks

I have had one for a couple of months and its a great car and very versatile.
I can stick the kids in the back, shopping in the boot or collect someone from the airport with luggage and during all of these times still have fun or drive normally(ish)

Actually tempted to sell it and get a Lusso as I am hearing great reviews on the Lusso.

I've decided i really do need an FF in my life.
Went to see one last weekend, although only 12k on the clock, it looked tired & had some dodgy paint repair to bonnet, bumper & one wing.
Might pop over to belfast to have a look at one thats just come up.

Hi guys, I’ve just placed a deposit on a 2013 FF today. First Ferrari and first supercar (if it can be called as such) so all quite exciting but also a little daunting. I’ve read various posts about baby seats but not managed to find a suggestion for a rear facing one that will fit nicely in the FF (baby is 10 months old). Any suggestions?

Also, before I pick her up from the dealer - I’m guessing they’re going to throw a load additional products/insurance stuff at me. Is there anything worth having? It’s from a Ferrari franchise.

Anything else I should know about FF ownership? Things to avoid etc. or known problems?

Thanks.

I used Riccardo seats in my FF and they seemed to fit fine, however slightly hard to lock in the belt due to the curvature.
Shame you have put a deposit down, just about to put mine up for sale which is a great spec!

Most rear facing baby seats shouldmfit in an FF no worries. We started out with maxi cosi pebble i think, and then went onto group 1 forward facing maxi cosi rhodi then into reccaro young sports in the FF (great seats). did plenty of long trips to france etc and the kids loved it..
