Did any changes/improvements take place during the 599's life cycle? Is any one model year any more desirable than others and is there a specific year to try to avoid - or all they all just brilliant.....

I don't think Ferrari does model years which are an American marketing concept - improvements tend to be introduced as and when so for instance in 2007 there was an improved ECU from chassis no 156938 and there may have been a change to improve fuel consumption a couple of years later

From '08 onwards there were revisions to the suspension. Body roll and ride improved significantly.
