I had heard of robert colbourn, who teaches both on road and at Millbrook, I have not tried him myself but would be very keen to...
He teaches at the Porsche Experience Centre too, I had him for a half day a couple of years ago and really liked him. I actually use one of the other PEC instructors....he uses Milbrook and Bruntingthorpe as well as road. Bruntingthorpe is more if you want to learn track driving in a safe environment....short but quick circuit with enough corners to test you and most importantly very quiet and loads of room !cayman-black said:
That didn't last long! Assuming down to the low mileage for its age and good spec? Love the colour combo personally!1 owner too - not sure why you'd bother selling it unless you needed the £ personally.

perfect spec IMHO, perfect history with one owner, ppf from new.. what is there not to like.. and for once was priced realistically i thought given all of the above.. lovely lovely car... 1 owner too - not sure why you'd bother selling it unless you needed the £ personally.
Have to say am getting impatient to get mine, few choice mods with some carbon that was missing, de-chav the black wheels and we should be in a good place

Considered an F12 for a good 6 months but I ended up buying a 488GTB (with an F8 Spider coming in 18 months) on the back of loving the shape of the mid-engined cars, I think it came down to still wanting a mid-engined Sportscar rather that a GT car, but this decision was always in the balance and I would say it was only that my perfect 488 came up that finally made my decision and I took the plunge. Given the choice I would have both as they are so different as a driving experience and I may do just that in 12 months and pull out of the F8 that's ordered. I see the V8's as the Sunday morning blast car while the V12's are the long distance cruisers with incredible handling and straight line speed when required. One thing is for sure though, you will never regret moving out of the Aston! But to answer the question and give some advice, I am not a fan of the standard seats but for the type of car this is these are fine (in a 488 racing seats are a must have option). Interior carbon is important, I test drove a few with standard interiors and it's amazing how different the cabin feels. The upgraded alloys also look better than the standard wheels. Not many have external carbon so I do not think that is an issue like it is on 488's. So look for carbon interior, racing seats (preferred but not essential on the right car) ungraded alloys and a unique colour as too many are Black, Grey or Rosso Corsa. I would not worry about number of owners as it's common to have 3-4 owners in 5 years and I always go on 2000 miles a years as what I would call average mileage for Ferrari's. At 5 years you're looking at 10k miles as good but do not be put off is this is 15k miles or more on the right car. Most important thing for me, I would go with a Ferrari dealer, they seem to get the best cars and do not pitch the cars any higher in price as they know the market best, I do believe some independents are on another planet as to where they think a particular cars value is. Also if your buying one out of the 4 year Ferrari Warranty the Authorised Dealer will give you a 2 year warranty which is reassuring (not a 2 mile warranty!). After looking for so long I get the impression the ones for sale outside the dealer network are the ones the authorised dealers do not want to sell as they would cost too much to get up to the standard the cars have to be to be sold through the official network. Hope this helps and good luck in your search. For what it's worth I have found JCT 600 in Leeds to be brilliant.

Why would there be a market price adjustment? I've not seen any discussion of such a thing on this forum ..
Thank you, that is why I'm ask, so that is a good price in the current market?marky7seven said:
Currently the lowest priced F12 is at Nottingham Grey Pauls for £149000, does anyone think there will be a market price adjustment anytime soon. Or does this seem good value?
Personally I wouldn’t buy anything made in the last ten years for two or three months.....wait and see how things pan out a bit. Think we’ll have a much better idea then. I’d say there’s a 75% chance we see a meaningful price correction, 25% chance we see normal depreciation and o% chance prices are unchanged,Older cars in great condition or rare/sought after specs will do much better than the more recent stuff which there are an awful lot more of.
Personally I think cars will be at least 10 to 15% cheaper and some a lot more. Some dealers have shifted prices of cars so their cars are now at the cheaper end of the price range but nobody has priced aggressively at a new price point to get deals done from what I have seen.

If you don't buy it immediately, then as soon as the current unprecedented global crisis is over, prices will probably shoot up as every man and his dog clamors to buy such necessary items as a V12 Ferarri. They will be the new loo roll.
Nice, best get two.Cheib said:

i was surprised that the early 2013 car (was the original HR Owen dealer launch display car) on the 'collecting cars' auction site made as much as it did, but i am not sure at the moment one new and unique auction platform sale makes a market. i'd probably sit on my hands a bit longer if i was looking.

I suppose time will tell, I'm not stupid enough to buy anything yet, and wouldn't be the right thing too do IMHO, maybe autumn if some normality returns. I don't think much beats the F12, I can't afford one at this price with the running cost, but you can dream.Older cars in great condition or rare/sought after specs will do much better than the more recent stuff which there are an awful lot more of.

I think this shows people don’t have many avenues to look for cars when sitting at home and surfing the web. On top of that, the “its an auction so it must be cheap” mentality. I agree the prices are great for seller and CC but I suspect a few people will have headaches in six months’ time. marky7seven said:

The only thing to do if you really like it is to place a low offer and see where it goes, or wait and watch a bit longer perhaps might help who knows.Good Luck.
