F12 considerations
Discussion
Finally closed a deal on an F12 today , excited would be an understatement! Finally realised the most important things to me were a) black b) racing seats and c) lift. Bought the best car ( I think) that has all those and a bit more , ironically back to one of the first cars I saw.
Many thanks to all who have helped with my many questions on this thread , escpecially Leg and Seawise - it’s all been invaluable !

How exciting! For all the gloom and doom around at the moment, F12’s seem to be in strong demand. Says a lot about the desirability of the F12, wonderful motorcar and a classic Ferrari. Many thanks to all who have helped with my many questions on this thread , escpecially Leg and Seawise - it’s all been invaluable !
What a great thread. People asking for advice about specs, and the just getting on and buying the car that works for them. No discussion about what this and that will do for values. Just getting on with it and driving some fabulous cars. With great photos too. Thanks for sharing, everyone. Pistonheads at its best.

Is your F12 from Tom Gould of Dick Lovett Swindon?
Just wondering if it is my old car as it looks like the exact same spec ?'14 plate Nero Daytona.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did
cheers,Bob

Hi Ben,
Pretty much certain that was previously my car - those plates are great value (Registered on F12 RKH) when I owned it.
What an absolute beast of a car it is and a superb spec to boot.
I missed open top motoring so I moved into a 488 spider.
Miss the awesome V12 normally aspirated motor.
When they bring out the 812 superfast spider then I'll be back to a V12 in a blink.
Cheers,Bob

I’ve only driven it about 60 miles since I picked it up on Friday but my first impressions are very good, it’s a completely different beast to my California T. Pretty much certain that was previously my car - those plates are great value (Registered on F12 RKH) when I owned it.

Just waiting for the weather to improve!

Picked up mine last Friday as well. HR Owen, red with cream daytona. Aiming to put a load of miles on it this year (more than it has done in its life to date). I have no idea what it is like to drive, even with a long drive north after picking it up, as was generally bricking it. First Ferrari!
Not bad at all as a first Ferrari..very lucky man. Enjoy in good health.Gassing Station | Ferrari V12 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
