From experience, the wear gauges/computer for the discs on the car can be inaccurate. To get an accurate reading you will need to get the Ferrari dealer to send the discs to Ferrari HQ (Brembo?) who weigh them, then Ferrari HQ can update the onboard wear gauge on the car remotely. When I bought my FF they showed high wear on low mileage, but when properly checked, it was much more reasonable.

Am I the only person then who thinks FF s are hugely overpriced?
I think so. Enzo engine in a package that can take four plus luggage up a snowy alp, yours from 70k. What competition does it have?Edited by HardtopManual on Friday 11th July 11:57

If you take it to a snowy alp semi-regularly you will be spending 25k on new brakes and a new exhaust eventually - by my estimate roughly every 8-10 years or thereabouts. And if you care about the visuals / stuff like bubbling paint, then you will have to have quite a few parts repainted as well plus all the mesh grills replaced on the car.
If that was your usage, you'd just do a steel conversion with Girodisc stuff for less than a quarter of that cost, and a custom SS exhaust would, I imagine, be cheaper than an OEM replacement. I know a lot of Ferrari owners prize originality, but I use my car (though it's a 355, not an FF) and always go for better-quality aftermarket bits where they are available, rather than OEM.AyBee said:
Oof, that's stunning! Do you know what the 2012 Ingrid car reached before the auction ended and it went unsold?
I didn't see it break into the 70s, but it may have done. Up for £79,950 now including the 6%, isn't that a bargain? Is it due to the colour, Japan import, non-standard head unit, or something else?
I’m considering selling mine, travel with work means I’m getting very little time to use it. I’ve only done 300 miles since service and warranty renewal in December. Most of those were driving it home as they collected it for me. Prices seem to be all over the place but hoping that as it’s still under Ferrari warranty, highly specced and a rare colour (Grigio Scuro from the historic colour palette) then should get a decent price.

Gorgeous car but you should consider ditching the F12 wheels as they aren’t rated for the axle loads of the FF and could land you in trouble with your insurer if you ever have an accident.Edited by ANOpax on Sunday 27th July 15:03

I’ve still got the original wheels, these have been on the car ever since I bought it and have been on through service and warranty inspections and it’s never been raised.
Good info to know though thanks for flagging it

You’re welcome - I tried to buy a set of F12 Tdf wheels for my FF and my dealer refused as they weren’t approved for the car. I ve still got the original wheels, these have been on the car ever since I bought it and have been on through service and warranty inspections and it s never been raised.

CC is a terrible place to get a good price
But it will sell (assuming the final bid is above your reserve
But a good FF needs several months advertised to get the best price
