Thanks. It shouldn’t be left more than a couple of days at a time as it will be my daily car. Is it worth fitting a different sort of battery or is there just a lot of drain on any battery when parked up?
Did you say you inspected the centurion car? What were your thoughts?Kettmark said:

I did. It was nice enough but there were just a few things that meant it wasn’t right for me. No cameras which was a must have for when my mrs drives it. It had the carbon steering wheel with the shift lights which I loathe so that would have had to been changed. The main point though that put me off was the front bumper was a completely different shade of red to the wing meaning it’s had a new bumper at some point and not been painted that well. The guys at Centurion we’re great though, would recommend them it just wasn’t the car for me.

Could FF owners both past and present please comment on this FF from Joe Macari? Any comments on price, spec, condition and seller welcome.

In your opinion is it priced well for it's spec? I noticed Joe Macari has a very impressive inventory (and showroom) so I expect he has a good reputation and stock is priced accordingly?
Did you go and see it in the metal?
I didn’t go and view it as like I say was over my budget. I think it’s fairly priced. Don’t know if it comes with any extended warranty etc thoughDid you go and see it in the metal?

Apart from 4 seats and being a hatchback(?) how do these compare to say a 599? In my head it's probably the only Ferrari I wouldn't want bucket seats and this leaves me confused.
Quite different cars, much snappier gearbox on the FF and higher general level of build quality I would say.RUNDLL said:

I love the colour of the Macari car both inside and out. It makes a welcome change from resale red or boring black. http://www.joemacari.com/All-Cars-for-Sale/_prod_F...
However, there is no carbon on that car whatsoever (not even the LED steering wheel) and that would put me off. Having pretty much all the carbon options ticked on my car by the first owner, I couldn’t go back to a car without it. There is no functional benefit to the carbon but it lifts the interior to another level.
Having said all that, if you are happy to lose the sporting pretension of the LED wheel and the carbon trinkets then you end up with a less sporty interior and perhaps that was the first owner’s intention. The lack of a carbon LED wheel will be held against you come resale time so use it to your advantage as a negotiating point when you’re buying it.

Am I the only person who thinks trinket Carbon downgrades an interior?
I must admit, I personally can’t stand it.
Nope you are not, I am with you on that. It is supposed to be a luxury car and touching plasticy carbon instead of Aluminium is a definitive downgrade from a haptic point of view \ imo. Ferrari marketing at its best. If I were to spec a car from new, I would save the fortune that Ferrari wants for this stuff and spend it on - depending on car - either lightening the car or matching colours perfectly throughout. I must admit, I personally can’t stand it.

as manufacturers of more obtainable cars embellish with more and more faux carbon, brands such as Ferrari will move away from it i suspect. there is already plenty of chatter that stuck-on CF or worse faux CF is very naff.I must admit, I personally can’t stand it.

Nope I’m exactly the same. Also the same on the exterior too. I must admit, I personally can’t stand it.
I actively searched for a car that didn’t have any. And I especially didn’t want the steering wheel with the lights in it for the same reason
